CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

Grand Auto customer policies.

Review the workflow, warranty, vehicle pickup and legally required cash-reporting information before authorizing work or completing a sale.

01 / DROP-OFF SERVICE

Check in before leaving a vehicle.

Diagnostic and repair work is drop-off only. Waiting service is limited to pre-approved maintenance appointments. Do not leave a vehicle or keys without confirmation that Grand Auto can accept it.

02 / NO LOT DIAGNOSIS

Technicians cannot diagnose at the hood.

Parking-lot scans, inspections and repair quotes interrupt scheduled work and do not produce reliable answers. Provide the year, make, model, mileage and concern to the service advisor.

03 / PAID DIAGNOSTICS

Testing is a professional service.

Diagnostic time, inspections and troubleshooting require authorization. Grand Auto will contact you with findings and an estimate before repairs go beyond the approved amount.

04 / WARRANTY

Grand Auto-supplied parts protect the repair.

Grand Auto warranties labor performed when Grand Auto supplies the parts used in the repair, subject to the written terms on the applicable repair order or invoice. Customer-supplied or outside parts receive no parts or labor warranty from Grand Auto; defects, fitment problems and resulting labor remain the customer’s responsibility.

05 / PICKUP & STORAGE

Completed vehicles must be picked up promptly.

Vehicles not picked up after completion and customer notification may incur a $25-per-day storage fee according to the signed repair order, authorization or pickup agreement. The remaining balance is due before vehicle release unless Grand Auto approves another arrangement in writing.

06 / CASH TRANSACTIONS OVER $10,000

Federal reporting requirements apply.

When Grand Auto receives more than $10,000 in cash in a single transaction or related transactions, federal law generally requires Form 8300 reporting to the IRS and FinCEN. Related payments may be aggregated. Grand Auto will not assist anyone in structuring payments to avoid reporting.
